Clarence Norment is a leadership coach and consultant to senior leaders seeking to overcome their most difficult challenges and rise to their greatest potential. With over 30 years of coaching and management experience, Clarence brings an inside-out approach to leadership development, focusing on both external skills and internal mindset as contributors to leadership effectiveness. He has coached and trained thousands of leaders from around the world across a wide range of industries and organizations.
Prior to joining Mariswood as a Consulting Partner, Clarence held management positions in training and leadership development with Marriott International, MITRE Corporation, Kaiser Permanente, and The American Red Cross. Before obtaining his Master’s Degree, he worked in project management for Donohoe Construction Company.

He possesses a keen ability to discern themes, provide perspective, and cut to the heart of the matter in his coaching, balancing learning with a bias for action and change. In addition to his skills as an executive coach, Clarence is an accomplished leadership strategist and a dynamic, engaging, and effective trainer.
Clarence is a National Parks enthusiast and an avid outdoors traveler, and draws his sense of energy, inspiration, and passion from these experiences, including 6 ascents of Mt. Rainier, a three-week expedition to the Bolivian Andes, and numerous other adventures.
